Shiftmee provides comprehensive moving and relocation services throughout the UAE, including:

  • Pick-up and delivery services

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Service Booking

  • All bookings must be made through our official channels (phone, WhatsApp, or website)
  • Service confirmation requires accurate information about pickup and delivery locations
  • Booking confirmation is subject to availability and service area coverage
  • We reserve the right to refuse service for safety or operational reasons

3.2 Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable taxes
  • Final pricing may vary based on actual service requirements and conditions
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and approved payment methods
  • Late payment may result in additional charges and collection proceedings

3.3 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled service
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours may incur cancellation fees
  • No-show customers will be charged the full service amount
  • Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled without penalty

4. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your moving requirements
  • Be present or designate an authorized representative during service
  • Ensure safe access to pickup and delivery locations
  • Disconnect and prepare appliances and utilities as needed
  • Declare valuable, fragile, or hazardous items before packing
  • Obtain necessary permits for parking or building access
  • Inspect and approve work before final payment
  • Report any issues or damages immediately

5. Prohibited and Restricted Items

We do not transport the following items:

  • Hazardous materials (flammables, chemicals, explosives)
  • Perishable food items
  • Live plants or animals
  • Irreplaceable items (documents, photos, jewelry)
  • Illegal substances or contraband
  • Items requiring special permits or licenses
  • Extremely valuable items without prior arrangement

Customers must declare any restricted items before service. We reserve the right to refuse transport of any item deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Our Liability Coverage

  • We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for your belongings
  • Basic coverage is included in all service packages
  • Additional coverage options are available for high-value items
  • Coverage terms and conditions apply as per our insurance policy

6.2 Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the actual value of damaged items
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or normal wear and tear
  • Claims must be reported within 7 days of service completion
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Total liability shall not exceed the total service fee paid

6.3 Claims Process

  • Document any damage with photos immediately
  • Report claims to our customer service within 7 days
  • Provide all necessary documentation and evidence
  • Cooperate with our investigation process
  • Claims will be processed according to our standard procedures

7. Our Service Guarantees

7.1 Best Price Guarantee

We guarantee competitive pricing for all our services. If you receive a lower written quote from a licensed competitor for identical services, we will match or beat the price by 5%.

7.2 Best Safety Guarantee

We guarantee the safe handling and transportation of your belongings using professional equipment, trained staff, and proven methods. Any damage caused by our negligence will be compensated.

7.3 On-Time Guarantee

We guarantee punctual service delivery as scheduled. If we are more than 2 hours late without prior notice, you will receive a discount on your service fee.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website and marketing materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Shiftmee and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without express written permission.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. The collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately, but your payment obligations for services already provided remain in effect.
